This workshop will introduce you to the various areas, roles, and responsibilities within the music industry that are crucial to know as a DIY/Independent/Beginning professional artist. Many of these roles, at least in the beginning, will be held by YOU! And as you look to grow and seek external help, it will be pivotal to know the “who” and the “what” of the music business, as well as the “why”. We’ll also cover some historical background, as well as discuss the current landscape of the music business.
